Our Position

Ordinis Linea operates with a clear and uncompromising position: modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and any form of exploitation have no place in our business, our engagements, or the organisations we choose to work with.

This is not treated as a compliance exercise. It is a fundamental standard that underpins how we operate, how we deliver, and how we build long-term relationships.

Who We Are

Ordinis Linea is a consultancy focused on operational transformation, digital performance, and complex technology environments across public and private sector organisations.

We are trusted to operate within critical services, sensitive environments, and high-accountability programmes. That level of trust demands a standard of conduct that extends beyond delivery, into how work is carried out and who is involved in doing it.

Operating Model and Risk Profile

The nature of our work means our exposure to modern slavery risk is structurally low, but not ignored.

Our model is defined by:

  • Delivery through experienced, professional consultants 

  • Direct engagement with clients, without layered or opaque subcontracting chains 

  • Careful selection of any partners or associates involved in delivery 

  • Full visibility of who is contributing to our engagements 

We do not operate labour-intensive supply chains, offshore production models, or high-risk procurement structures. However, we recognise that risk does not disappear simply because it is less visible, and we act accordingly.

Standards We Apply

We set clear expectations across everything we do:

  • All individuals engaged through Ordinis Linea do so voluntarily and under fair, transparent conditions 

  • There is no tolerance for coercion, exploitation, or unethical labour practices in any form 

  • Working conditions, remuneration, and expectations are appropriate, lawful, and respectful 

  • Individuals are treated with dignity across all engagements, regardless of role or seniority 

These standards apply equally to our internal operations, our consultants, and any third parties we work with.

Third Parties and Supply Chain Integrity

Where we engage partners, associates, or suppliers, we do so selectively and with clear expectations.

We expect any organisation or individual working with us to:

  • Operate in line with applicable laws and ethical labour standards 

  • Demonstrate transparency in how work is delivered 

  • Avoid practices that could expose individuals to exploitation or unfair treatment 

We will not knowingly enter into or continue relationships where these standards are not met.

Our preference is to work with partners who operate with the same level of accountability and professional integrity that we expect of ourselves.

Due Diligence and Oversight

We take a proportionate but deliberate approach to oversight.

This includes:

  • Understanding who is delivering work across our engagements 

  • Maintaining direct visibility of delivery structures 

  • Assessing third parties before and during engagement where appropriate 

  • Acting quickly where concerns are identified 

Responsibility for this sits at director level, ensuring that accountability is clear and that decisions are made with the appropriate level of scrutiny.

Culture and Accountability

We operate in environments where accountability matters, and that extends internally.

We foster a culture where:

  • Ethical concerns can be raised without hesitation 

  • Professional standards are upheld consistently 

  • Responsibility is owned, not deferred 

This is critical in ensuring that standards are not just stated, but actively maintained.

Our aim is not simply to meet minimum requirements, but to maintain a level of integrity that reflects the environments in which we operate.

Legal Context

  • This statement is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

  • While Ordinis Linea is not currently required to publish a statement under the Act’s turnover threshold, we choose to do so as a reflection of our standards and the expectations we set for ourselves and others.
